The nursing shortage is not an issue that may be ignored any further. The lack is becoming a nationwide issue, and the region needs to take action. Fewer individuals are entering a career in nursing, current rns are going and departing their jobs, and the dissatisfaction with people and staff is if she is not taken care of. The following is an annotated bibliography which will summarizes and evaluates 3 sources that address the nursing shortage.

Summary: This information informs the reader of the deficit of nurses. This article mentions, as in the past, nurses are still putting in long hours, looking after more people, desperately trying to stay on top of things. There exists a new breastfeeding shortage, different from the old 1. The reasons in the shortage are examined. Fewer people are entering the breastfeeding field, an over-all dissatisfaction of numerous issues, and a high burnout rate. The article consists of 3 main reasons intended for the scarcity, each that go into detail about a particular issue. The modern shortage requires unique alternatives that will resolve the fundamental issues, not merely solutions that can help in the growing process. The alternatives of which that have been mentioned was needing better, professional work place, adequate staffing, and wages and benefits to that the same of their duties. To help overcome the scarcity, federal and state government authorities are delivering legislation to improve the working environment and helping pay medical tuition. Besides government support, there is a personal effort that may be made.
